The weeks, they just keep rolling. Cheers to another Monday conquered! Break up the monotony of your daily routine by spending a few moments here. There’s plenty to see and consider – especially if you’re into fashion with a cause.
If you’ve had trouble staving off the sugar cravings lately, give healthy snacking a try! It happens to the best of us – donuts in the break room, that friendly neighborhood baker with extra time on her hands…baked goods are yummy but such a frenemy when you’re trying to cut the chemicals and fight for the fresh. Healthy meals are similarly tricky. But look below for recipes and DIY that will give you a reason to celebrate Monday. Valuing the little things in life is essential to having a positive outlook – so tell us, what are you thankful for today? #Cayisa and let us know!
Happy Monday! Another week has begun and we’re here to keep your mind, body, and heart as clean as possible!
Meatless Monday is more than just a trend – it’s part of a lifestyle. When you choose to prepare nutritious meals, you’re committing yourself to healthy habits. These habits look a lot like diligence, self-control, positive thinking, and self-awareness. Whether you’re new to the world of healthy living or you’re a veteran, it can be difficult to consistently take care of our bodies! It will always be tempting to cheat…to skip that run or grab a milkshake instead of fruit. But here’s the good news: if you’re willing to be creative, there are plenty of ways to manage cravings, keep the cheating to a minimum, and fully embrace good habits.
Our recipes for this week are proof that you can indulge and still be on track to a better, fitter, happier you!

Happy MLK Day! As we honour everything Martin Luther King Jr. stood for, why not take stock of what you’re standing for? What are you passionate about? What cause have you fallen for? We want to know! If you’re looking for an added sense of purpose, feel free to join Cayisa in educating children about healthful living, planting trees, and encouraging sustainable farming practices.

Ornament exchanges used to be the bane of my existence…there’s a fine line between too mainstream and too eclectic. The risk of someone not liking their ornament and it staying in the bottom of the decoration box forevermore is always so high!
However, the Pinterest gods are brilliant at solving dilemmas like these and I’ve realized it’s actually really easy to make your own ornaments. Not only are they classy, they’re cute!
Here are some DIY ideas to make your friends merry and bright:
Fingerprint snowman ornament from plaidonline.com
Hot cocoa mix ornaments from bubblynaturecreations.com
Minion, Mike & Elmo from crazylittleprojects.com
Personalized Scrabble Ornament from lifeyourway.net
I haven’t found any tutorials for this one, but I think one regular bauble, glitter paint, a cupcake liner, hot glue, and a smaller red bauble will get the job done.
Make sure you take a picture of your final products and #Cayisa!

Grey fall afternoons require an extra touch of homey comfort. It’s just a fact. So today’s dinner features vegetarian shepherd’s pie from ezrapoundcake.com. Have I told y’all how much I love this website? It really is the perfect place to visit for all your Meatless Monday needs.
Warning: this dish features cauliflower mashed potatoes which you can sub out for regular potatoes – especially if your kids are picky eaters.
