Reforesting. Ever think about it? Probably not.
Planting trees usually doesn’t top our to-do lists because there are so many other commitments vying for our attention. It’s understandable!
But preserving our planet will always be necessary, no matter how busy our lives.
Whenever you purchase a Cayisa piece, you’re assisting in that preservation! It’s easy and it really does help. Cayisa is not alone, though, in seeking to replant and restore American soil.
This week, we’re spotlighting the National Forest Foundation, a group that works hard to promote educational experiences in the environment.
Through youth engagement, numerous students have learned about the beauty of nature – taking group hikes, planting trees, and interning on prairie lands.
Additionally, the National Forest Foundation encourages people to celebrate Friends of the Forest Day by gathering together and removing trash from local parks and grounds. Pausing to appreciate the beauty of nature isn’t an exercise in hippy-dom. It’s healthy for the heart! Removing human pollution is a good place to start.
There are plenty of opportunities for you – whether you’d like to become a member, make a donation, or simply share NFF’s mission with friends.
